On Sunday the 25th of March, a few members of the Mercury team were roped into facing their fears and abseiling down The Europa Hotel in Belfast in aid of the Cancer Fund for Children.
The Cancer Fund for Children, Northern Ireland’s leading children’s cancer charity, supports children, young people and their families following a cancer diagnosis. They assist families in a variety of ways with a range of practical, emotional and financial support options, therapeutic short breaks and capabilities to help bereaved families cope following the loss of a child to cancer.
All of the team would like to say a huge thank you to all who sponsored us and wished us well. We are delighted to announce that the total amount raised was £688.86. Thankfully, the sun was shining and everyone lived to tell the tale.
We thoroughly look forward to our next challenge!
